Just following up on this as its been a while. I've had members of my forum using the 'low bandwidth' version of the site for a good while now and it's been great, especially on sat com or other metered connections. Once again thanks @Alternadiv for putting in the time and effort.

All done, thanks again for putting this together for everyone it really is appreciated. For anybody curious to how this looks when live then select low bandwidth from the theme selector on my site in the signature.

Thanks @Nicolas FR I tired and still get some strange numbers, my account is the second one created and is giving me a "User ID8237368" Could this be some sort of conflict with the theme that I'm using? Sorry if the questions seem silly but coding isn't my thing.
