It's okay, I managed to fix it by doing a completely fresh reinstall. I'm guessing the database URL had been set up as a value in the database somewhere, instead of just using localhost, FWIW.

Got an odd problem where we can't upload an image using the normal "Attach files" button at the bottom left the posting area. However, apparently we can attached images using the text editor "Insert image" function. Could you please advise?

That's set to "Show signatures to guests". The images are uploaded as normal attachments, then linked to in signatures. If I've set user permissions to show signatures to guests. Surely I shouldn't need to set node permissions to allow attachment views in every public node?? EDIT: Oh, wait -...

Actually, the reverse - remove the option to hide signatures, so they always show. :)

Not really - XF tags are different to hashtags. :)
