Got an odd problem where we can't upload an image using the normal "Attach files" button at the bottom left the posting area. However, apparently we can attached images using the text editor "Insert image" function. Could you please advise?

That's set to "Show signatures to guests". The images are uploaded as normal attachments, then linked to in signatures. If I've set user permissions to show signatures to guests. Surely I shouldn't need to set node permissions to allow attachment views in every public node?? EDIT: Oh, wait -...

In user permissions, for "Unregistered/unconfirmed" I have "View attachments to posts" set to "Yes". However, when I log out of the forums, I cannot see attachments which are used in user signatures, ie: https://www.sffchronicles.com/threads/581156/#post-2512134 Could you please advise?

Actually, the reverse - remove the option to hide signatures, so they always show. :)

Not really - XF tags are different to hashtags. :)

Is it possible to remove this option, or at least have it set up on a usergroup basis? It's just that I have subscribers where having a signature is part of the package, and for non-paying members to be able to turn them off kind of defeats that part of it.

I'm not seeing this come up - I have a "Book Search" board on my forums, but when I go into the nod, it has "Discussions" as a the defaul option and greyed out so it can't be changed. Although I can add "Questions" as an option, it still means new Book Search threads default to being...

You could use the "Reject with reason" option and simply paste in the information you have.
