I actually want to change the tab based on having different triggers. For example, I want to be able to active the Like tab when likes is clicked, and the Love tab when loves is clicked. So different tab, depending on what was clicked to open the modal.
Actually yes, you can enable the node grid for just one theme by going into Style Properties > TH Nodes: Grid :)
Also, unless you enabled "Advanced node grid" in the board options, it only uses CSS (no js required for the layout). So I think it's doing all the things you want it to out of the box
Unable to replicate this issue. It looks like you're using a custom child theme. Could you try testing it using an uncustomized version of the theme (other than toggling Separate Sticky Threads)?
No, that is currently not a feature. You should adjust the font sizes in your theme to whatever you want the default to be as the default for all users.
By default UI.X doesn't actually load in FontAwesome at all (it only loads in the files for Material Icons). I'm not ure how the add-on works, but I'm not sure it would play nicely (though it' possible).

This is the "Main tab bar", not the "navigation" (that's over there in the left side of the screen). @Forsaken is correct in saying you can remove in Style Properties > Global Settings > Main Tabs. This allows you to disable that entire main tab bar
Is there a template function or a method to get credits on the user object globally? I want to add users credits as a tab in the visitor menu, but not sure if i can/how to access them.
