Well it's an unsafe character in a URL so it's best practice to strip it, wordpress would strip it so just seems funny that xf strips ' but not ´. 🤷‍♂️

It doesn't here, but I've seen it URLs with it have issues on other places where it breaks the URL. Namely if the link is pasted into other message boards Just seems like a bug that it strips one ' and not the other

Shouldn't it be stripped out like the ' is in the URL else it will cause issues?

On my test board it lets me use ´ in the title and it itsnt stripped. Is this an issue?
