choose your host carefully. i do offer shared hosting...but unlike the mega sized hosters I would want to know about the size of the site you are looking to bring. I do not run artifical limits on my accounts(godaddy) but i also do not want to crush the server so my other clients are impacted...
I went ahead on that assumption that you had developed the database for innodb. Luckily I was able to force repair the tables and do a manual mysql upgrade to recover the system...Thanks..:)
I have a client with a badly messed up server. Does Xenforo care if the table engine is innodb or myisam? right now they are running innodb but i want to change them to myisam and wanted to make sure it would not cause problems with xenforo.
it takes 1-2 seconds to load here on a 50/10 connection. my system is a core i-3 3.0 8 gigs of ram and win7 x64. once the site starts loading it's instant but it takes a sec or so to get going.
That was a whole lot of nothing. XF had better post something meaningful quickly or they won't have to worry about legal consequences as there will be not enough users to suport continued development. personal issues? We've been told that for quite some time now. How about some real information?
how do i change the number of post per page? like when i am removing large groups i can only select 20//makes it a tedious process when there's 500 to remove..:)
i redownloaded the files tested reextracted and re uploaded to the same result. I am considering it's my installation of XF as well and have started a support ticket.
i've reuploaded twice with filezilla using sftp..no failures. the folder is at first named [8wayRun.Com] XenUtiles (Tools) v1.1.1 which genreates the first error. if i rename the folder to just XenUtiles I get this:
Server Error
call_user_func(EWRutiles_Install::installCode)...
are there certain folder names it is looking for? I've tried leaving them named as they extract and reducing them to just the name of the addon...no effect..the error persists.
