Invision is not the only alternative. Invision & XF are also not direct competitors. Competitors, yes, but not direct.
Woltlab is a great choice, and very price competitive at $150 with a great choice of 1st party addons.
We have a member on our site reporting 2 different XF sites freeze at a blank white page when he uses MS Edge browser bookmarks.

I'm getting a few failed emails on my error log each day. Example below:
Email to example@usersemail.com from example@priorboardemail.com failed: Process failed with exit code 1: /usr/sbin/sendmail: unexpected response 550 to DATA | 550 Message rejected. priorboardemail.com is not currently...
I have this question also.
Thank you for sharing. I'm not sure I understand though - as the default .htaccess rule given as the resource has no subdirectory listed?
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} (^|&)t=([0-9]+)(&|$) [NC]
RewriteRule ^viewtopic\.php$ /threads/%2/? [L,R=301,NC]...

I remember reading about how Reddit Threads and Replies can be - and often are - heavily manipulated by both legit and bot upvotes such that early replies & content are nearly always pushed & stay at the top, despite more thorough (or more correct) replies being posted later.
I can't easily upgrade/downgrade the server storage.
Helping someone else with this who has that access, so everything like that requires a middle-man adding time and communication challenges between myself & the host company.
Hi all. Have a question about importing.
I've tested the import of an existing site with 850k posts & 150k attachments from phpBB to XF a couple times. I'm running into an issue with my server storage allotment, though.
When I do a full test import, I run into storage warnings, eventually...
Just wanted to make another attempt at this before exploring an add on/etc.
Has anyone been able to force 4-across for an article forum and can share the method?
Thanks. Unfortunately, simply "closing" them would throw off Prefix usage we rely on currently.
We have @Ozzy47's prefix actions moving Completed threads to a Completed subforum.
The auto-close wouldn't do that, and might also leave members wondering if an item is still available.
Appreciate...
