Here is my brand-new Helldivers fansite: https://helldiversforum.com. You can see the blogs widget on the homepage. Noticed I changed the text to what I wanted. I also cleaned up the blogs' menu items and added FontAwesome icons. No code modifications needed, just language phrases.

Before uninstalling it, I chose to "rebuild" the add-on instead. That did the trick for me!
