I'm not using Never - I'm using revoke - which according to the manual can be overriden.

If all users are members of registered... and you grant registered posting permissions in general as that's the default behavior in most forums. But if you have a forum you only want some users to be able to post in.. I would expect on the Node to be able to set revoke for 'registered'...

Maybe it's a bug? The user in question is part of 'registered users' which is set to revoke on this node. The user is also part of a second user group which has 'allow' set for the node. According to the manual, 'revoke' can be overridden. And my expectation is the 'allow' in the second user...

It's what we've largely have done in the past... but the lure of a system that banned by use rather than geography is far more attractive.

Maybe xenforo could team up with a list of 'obvious spammers who have not posted' service :rolleyes: I don't need to clog my site with thousands of registrations from Bangladesh, India, China, and headless hosting services for my community about my 3k home neighborhood.

But spam cleaner does not reject the registration - but bans them and hence they hang around flooding ban lists and other views. I really don't need to keep track of hundreds of past China spammers in my db. Id like to just turn them away at the door, feed the data to the lists and move on.

I don't see spam cleaner in the user edit page in admin pages? And wouldn't spam cleaner only look at posts in the forums? I'm talking about when a user is registers and pending approval... they obviously do not have any posts at this point. It's plainly obvious when you have spam...

So I've added the api key for StopForumSpam in options... and I moderate new user registrations. But it's not clear to me in the workflows how I am supposed to be flagging users as spammers? When I reject user registrations.. is there any way to flag them as spammers for the various features...

hrm... maybe this could be used to force specific heights at certain wide/narrow/etc ? or maybe just switching the image would be nice (which is what the responsive add-on did). I do want a logo on the mobile site
