Would you use a Cloud server or webhosting for XenForo?

And NEVER trust your host for that, no matter what they say. Do it yourself.

Would you use a Cloud server or webhosting for XenForo?

Back in the day when my forum was much busier, I had a much more complicated setup. EC2, elasticache, RDS, S3, etc. These days, I have a monolithic EC2 instance that handles everything running @eva2000's excellent Centminmod. It's more than enough.

Too many bots on my forum

Did your host change your IP? If the attacker still has it, CloudFlare doesn't matter.

Is Amazon LightSail a good option for XenForo hosting?

FWIW, I've never run into a case where I've needed to open a support ticket. Their forums can be pretty helpful, if ever needed.

Is Amazon LightSail a good option for XenForo hosting?

Is Amazon LightSail a good option for XenForo hosting?

I'm aware. Without getting political, the VAST majority of people will still have zero issues - even if you're hosting edgy content.

Is Amazon LightSail a good option for XenForo hosting?

Remember, AWS isn't a webhost. You're responsible for being your own webhost and it can be a wonderful learning experience. In my case, it's how I eventually became an AWS consultant. And FWIW, I've been working with AWS clients for years and never had one kicked off. By my unofficial tally...
