I just saw the restructure the other day and thought a lot of people would be coming to Xenforo.

On a side note how are you and Fergal doing, it's been a long time.

Has anyone attempted to convert SMF 2.1 to Xenforo with success?

SMF shows the changes made above the coding.

You could also start out on shared hosting and then upgrade when needed. Some say not to use shared hosting, but I have for years without problem.

@carsafety I have been using @VeeroTechHosting for years and I can say they are an awesome host. I can't remember the last time it was done and support has always been great, getting back to you right away and helping you with all your needs.

I am a manager for the salvation army and we have been running ragged all over the place. Setting up drive through food banks, housing homeless, bringing food to those that are quarantined. I'm am glad I have my family safe and forums to relax on.

I'm on vacation this week and scared to go back to work on Monday, but don't have a choice. On the other hand my daughter is a school teacher and now has off until 4/15 with pay.

With my experience with Xenforo I had no problems running a forum on a VPS or Shared hosting for that matter.

Glad it worked out for you, double imports are always nerve racking.
