That's an in-house custom-built forum, so the XF importer won't work. You would need the services of someone like @MySiteGuy to help you move to XF. There would be his fees plus the cost of a XF licence and any add-ons you may need.

Go to Search Phrases (I'm sure you've done this) and type in 'reply' (without the quotes) in the Text Contains field and then the translate button. It should be about halfway down in the results - this is from my site:

Are you referring to the header area and the moderator toolbar, as opposed to the main navigation? If so, that can be done with CSS. I'm not familiar with the UI.X theme, but there may be something in the styles properties to remove the UI.X text. A link to your site would make it easier to...

Search phrases for Forum List - use translate option and change the first Forum List entry to what you want. I changed mine to 'Community'
