Also, the Ajax call was slowing down my site's loading time by approximately 1 second. I remedied this problem by setting up caching specifically for this page on Cloudflare.

I found an easy way to do this. Use the following Wordpress plugin, which allows you to insert Widgets into pages and posts via shortcode:

It doesn't appear to be. My test site had this addon installed prior to Dropbox changing its policy, and it still works fine. That's because Dropbox is (for now) continuing to allow for already-created long-lived access tokens. However, it won't permit the creation of any new long-lived...
It appears that this addon will no longer work with Dropbox. The reason is that Dropbox has eliminated long-lived access tokens, and instead has implemented refresh tokens. This addon needs to be updated to reflect the change, but it seems that @Jaxel has stopped updating it. :(

I am interested in using this as a bridge between Xenforo 2 and the latest version of Wordpress. If I use the beta X2 API that you posted on your website, will this plugin still work as intended? Do all of the features listed in the overview still work?

So.... with this add-on gone, is there something similar available for XenForo 2? I'm especially interesting in cracking down on "homepage" link spam, as well as links hidden in posts.
The ideal solution would be if @Xon could incorporate a live Latest Activity feed into his Live Content add-on. I made this suggestion on his forum yesterday:
