    Do you own a laptop?

I've been using Thinkpads for quite some time - short of a Toughbook, they are the most physically versatile consumer laptop. I currently have a Thinkpad T400 w/ 8GB RAM and a 160GB SSD. Bought the GF a T500 to replace her Acer.

How often do you use "Mark Forums Read" ? or Do you use What's new ?

I never mark forums read, because I haven't read them all! I use "What's New" often - usually to spot inappropriate threads - be it spam or other.

    Winter Is Here!

I noticed a big difference between FWD and AWD for deep snow and taking off from a stop. Winter tires work great for ice (although not much for deep snow).

    Winter Is Here!

This was a few days ago in southwest Ontario (I didn't take the photo). Fun times. Not too cold though, -5/-10 celsius.

    Newsletters

Andy, I cull the bottom performing email addresses every few months. If I send 3 newsletters, and there are email addresses that haven't opened/clicked in the last 3, I remove it from the list. No point in paying for a larger plan, or for a higher send amount if certain people consistently...

    Newsletters

I use MailChimp for sending to over 5000 members. I used to use a PHP script on my own server, and then SendBlaster. When using those two tools from my own server or computer I found there was less overall impact. First, the odd user would forget they signed up (sometimes a year or two before)...
