You can do this now with the addon. It creates pages - which can be a home page or any page. And you can integrate with other add-ons via widgets.

Where do I see the field edit history for Showcase or RMS custom fields? I can't seem to find it.

Does this permission: [OzzModz] Custom Field Change Log: Edit without approval Apply to someone's own content only? So basically if set to yes they can edit the custom fields on their items without approval. With it set to no it'll be sent to approval queue? Am I understanding correctly?
