Paid Registrations, has nothing to do with registered users in your forum. As XenForo don't use the same subscription as vBulletin, the users are not marked/flagged as subscribers. Same with "premium" or "vip" users. The will be recognized just as special user groups

It seems that you have a issue with the template, because there is no opton in the settings to disable to display the price. And no permissions setting to enable/disable that. I think you should deinstall and reinstall again, but that is no 100% that your issue will be fixed.
