Yes, I'm running XenForo 2.3.12, and this issue is still affecting some users. I was also able to reproduce it myself using the method @diskutopia described. However, I can only reproduce it in Chromium-based browsers. It does not seem to occur in non-Chromium browsers, like Firefox.

it's nice addon, but I would've use the filter: grayscale(100%); css property instead of a different image for a read node.
