Problem of white spaces still remains even after last patch updation, i noticed it at two places:

No the download file is not updated. Thanks to google search i found this thread and updated the media.php file as quoted by @Chris D above. It worked post updation.
I tried looking / search over the forum for an answer to this. How do i set up the permissions to let unregistered users / guests to post in the forums ?
Surprising, but i expected the update to be problem free and it was, the update process was a a breeze, never encountered any problem even in the installation. However, after installation i find that the users are now waiting for admin approval while earlier it was auto approval. Then again...
The avatar images are broken when you are viewing a forum list, however when you view the actual thread i find all the avatars to be in their place. I came here to post this and i find even here the avatar images in forum list is broken, i believe some testing is going on with the codes, did...
Everything works perfectly, except for Yahoo, after i tried to sign up to Yahoo, it gave me this page:
I signed up to rest of the services and it worked like a charm. Looking for help.
I think as a guest one can only see the thumbnail, so that is the whole point, where do i change that in the options.
EDIT: Googled it and found this post and changed it to allow guests to view attachments

My webmaster tools account shows almost all the attachments in the threads / posts as giving an error code of 403.
I tried checking the htaccess file and everything seems to be normal there.
From a browser they are not showing any '403 forbidden error', however Google seems to be forbidden...
Saw that you are using some graphics in the notification, care to share how you did that ?
Also saw another slider running image gallery at the bottom, is that an addon ?
