Could someone help please, I've been trying to get this to work and ploughing through 22 pages looking for the solution but i've failed.
Installed the addon. Told it the import database. Going to an old URL it gives a 404.
I am appending the old URL to the new URL, but the domain is different...
Thanks Mike. I set advice to everyone to cancel their subscriptions and renew a fresh, and re-enabled IPNs.
However another problem has now cropped up - and that's no subscriptions are working again, not even new ones. I can see PayPal receipts from customers, but XenForo doesn't seem to...
Hi all,
I wondered, if there a cron or addon that can delete users - specifically ones that are in a certain group?
I was wary of dabbling with queries as I guess the registration data is in multiple tables.
Or perhaps an addon that is close to this that I could see if i could modify.
Thanks
We turned off IPN due to getting loads of error emails relating to vBul.
This did make me wonder if that was the issue but a) it only allows one URL and we have multiple XenForo and b) people were indicating it was irrelevant as XF passed its own URL.
Hi,
I have realised that what I thought was a sporadic issue now seem to be a bigger one, and that is people paying for account upgrades are not being upgraded.
The PayPal part is working - payment received, receipt issued etc.
But XenForo is showing no sign of the result.
I moved to Xenforo...
Well if XenForo is saying that beyond 1m posts you need to spend extra money on something, then XenForo has been designed for sub-1m posts. To me that's quite evident.
I don't quite buy it... because if seven year old software from vBulletin can cope with 6m with ease on mySQL, then mySQL is...
And any thoughts on why seven year old software can run a search on 6m posts but not a super-duper XenForo? I don't recall reading any warnings before purchasing that XenForo was designed for sub-1m post forums. No warning on import either that it was a bad idea.
1 million seems very low to me and my other forum of 1.2m is going just fine on XenForo.
I never had any issue at all with that number if posts on vBulletin and that was on 3.6.8, so ancient... and I must admit not keen on spending another $100 on two sites to fix this.
And do you know why one...
