    XenForo and Web 3.0

I thought that poster was saying that centralization itself was the problem since it inevitably creates a monopoly effect giving those in power the ability to censor (even when no laws are being broken) and to accumulate/control/sell our personal data. I don't see how a centralized internet...

    Build on-chain Internet Computer Protocol.

I would say that if xenforo is thinking about integrating with any blockchain project, then it should be with internet computer protocol for some of the reasons you stated.

    XenForo and Web 3.0

Sure, there are some bad actors in the crypto/Web 3.0 space, but now it is becoming increasingly regulated and structured. Some of the biggest crypto scammers like Sam Bankman Freid, former head of FTX, are now in jail for defrauding investors. Also, the project that I brought up is very...

    XenForo and Web 3.0

I'm thinking he means Web 3 as in decentralized, and likely with the use of blockchain technology. The only blockchain project that has the ability to host an entire website and apps is that of the Dfinity Foundation. Their project is called the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP). Source: ICP...

XF 2.2 How to increase character count limit for a user banner field?

Thanks Kirby. If you know where exactly I can go to edit that then please share that. My custom usergroup banners depend on it! Edit: Or as an alternative, is there another place I can place the url for my banners other than the user banner text box? My banners are hyperlinked.

    Article Forum Symmetrical Grid Layout

What I recommend is that the article grid become a core feature, and have it already set up with a user interface with buttons click to modify the options. That way we don't have to fool around with code unless it's for some real technical customization.

    Article Forum Symmetrical Grid Layout

I wanted the second option. But now I'm having a problem even with your fixed footer code when I try to apply it just to one node. The specified node footer doesn't change for some reason. Not sure what I'm missing but I'm trying to troubleshoot. Just to be clear... here's my code...

    Article Forum Symmetrical Grid Layout

Thank you. That worked! Placed in extra.less: .js-threadListItem-26 { background: green; } The 26 part is my node ID. The only issue now is that the node color only shows up when the forum type is General Discussion but not when it's set to Articles. Any advice on that would be much...

XF 2.2 "No permission to buy" on xenforo resource page

Thanks for the reply. It was actually another problem. The add-on author has it set up to where you have to join another site before being able to buy his add-ons. The "buy" button was linked to his site.
