XF 2.1 How to move the main forum over the header background?

I would like to move all of the forums (surrounded in yellow) over/on top the header background. Is there an easy way to do this? And at the same time, get my background to be more of a full view of the image instead of a section? I've tried messing with it more than 100 times and I can't quite seem to find the answer.

You likely need to use the image as the page background and set the header to be transparent.
