Not a bug XenForo Image Proxy doesn't work with some images

It seems that the image proxy doesn't like some image links, specifically this one:
https://www.audentio.com/staff/jakeb/screenshots/Screen Shot 2015-07-29 at 10.04.55 AM.png

If I try to embed it with an img tag it does this:

Screen%20Shot%202015-07-29%20at%2010.04.55%20AM.png

and tries to use the image url: https://www.audentio.com/staff/jakeb/screenshots/Screen Shot 2015-07-29 at 10.04.55 AM.png

Apparently the auto link thing also doesn't like linking to the image proxy?
Remove the space:

There's something about this that may actually be more server specific than a bug.

We'll likely need Mike to have a closer look.

When I test the image in the Admin CP with the test tool I get:
https://www.audentio.com/staff/jakeb/screenshots/Screen Shot 2015-07-29 at 10.04.55 AM.png could not be fetched or is not a valid image. The specific error message was: Unable to Connect to ssl://www.audentio.com:443. Error #0:

However, it works fine for me locally and on some other sites.

It works here but not on my site. If I test the image on proxy tester the message is:

https://www.audentio.com/images/sidebar_affiliates.jpg konnte nicht erfolgreich übertragen werden oder ist kein gültiges Bild. Die entsprechende Fehlermeldung ist: Unable to Connect to ssl://www.audentio.com:443. Error #0:

By testing without https it works:

My SSL-Cert is from COMODO CA Limited

Any idea?

It looks like it could be that your server is unable to verify the validity of the Audentio certificate or one of the other certificates in the chain (it wouldn't be related to your own). This is likely to be require some sort of server configuration on your end so you may want to get your host involved.

All images with https can't be process correctly on my site for one or two days. It is not only on audentio.
Simultaneously I have a problem with paypal access and this error message:

Zend_Http_Client_Adapter_Exception: Connection to PayPal failed: Unable to Connect to ssl://www.paypal.com:443. Error #0: - library/Zend/Http/Client/Adapter/Socket.php:235
Generiert durch: Unbekanntes Benutzerkonto, Heute um 15:28 Uhr

Could this error be in a context with the proxy error?
Should I contact my hoster?

This is basically the same error, and it's nothing to do with the Image Proxy itself. It seems to be a general issue with making socket requests to SSL ports.

I do suggest speaking to your host, yes, I think they will be better placed to know what's changed and how to put it right.

The error occures on using PHP 5.6.
I'm down on PHP 5.4 and all SSL requests are working fine.

Does anyone else problems with PHP 5.6? Many sites are using this version without errors.

Send a picture of the proxy
the option is off and I don't want to use it.

Unfortunately, when I open a member thread that inserts an image from its site when I am not using it, I get an SSL is not secure error. What is the solution to this?

Please urgent solution needed
