Where did you go with this in the end?Has there been, or likely to be, any thought or decision on this?
I'm fast approaching the need to have to migrate from NixFifty's abandoned addon, and I've been through several calendar/event addons over my years with XF. Each time, I've done a manual DB import and rebuild, to have existing events within the new addon. I'd need to look at doing the same here, if deciding to move to this addon, and there's no plans for a 1st party import.
Nowhere, there's no importers.Where did you go with this in the end?
I feel this further proves my theory that there would be more custom (unknown how much more) for addons like this that involve a lot of historical data that exists in legacy addons/solutions if there were importers to get new customers to jump ship. It seems like a no brainer.Nowhere, there's no importers.
I'm just dealing with the bugs in Naz's calendar, and waiting for a viable alternative.
Our XF 2.3-compatible version is nearly ready and will be released shortly after XF 2.3 moves out of the beta phase. This is on my radar, but will hold off until a 2.3 version is ready, as my site and current add-ons are all 2.3 ready; it's just a waiting game now. From what I can see of this add-on, it will be a perfect complement to my rock music site and benefit all rock bands.
Brilliant! I already have a special site earmarked for thisOur XF 2.3-compatible version is nearly ready and will be released shortly after XF 2.3 moves out of the beta phase.
Waiting on this as it looks like the other calendar alternatives are too dormant and buggy to pursue. Ideally need it before euro24Our XF 2.3-compatible version is nearly ready and will be released shortly after XF 2.3 moves out of the beta phase.
We're delighted to announce the release of Events Manager 1.3.0! The highlight of this release is compatibility with XenForo 2.3.0 RC 3 and above. To support the new dark mode, we've made several adjustments to the less templates and style properties.
Thanks to @Jimmi's funding, we've added a Card Grid view for event categories, with a new admin option to control it. By default, the Card Grid view is now set.
This is fully explained in the Resource Overview. It's similar to what XenForo itself does. We can't maintain new feature updates between two major XF branches (XF 2.2 and XF 2.3), but we will continue to provide bug fixes for the XF 2.2 branch as usual. So, if I don't plan to upgrade to XF 2.3.x, I won't receive any updates.
The thread prefix selection works in our XF 2.2 version. However, it seems to be a bug in XF 2.3, as I've encountered the same issue there, including in the XFRM. We're looking into it, but it appears to be a problem within 2.3 itself.I have a small issue - although I can set a prefix for the event, I'm unable to select one for the discussion topic
