This doesn’t work with /c/ in the URL for the subscribe link.

Is there a way around this because most user channels use /c/ not /user/

Hello,

Thank you for create a bug report Here

Regards

Is there a way round it? Most channels are not using /user/ in the urls now, they haven’t for a while so most sub links won’t work with this addon

/channel/ doesn’t work either

how come you didn't fix the bugs above? The sub button won't work with /c/ in the URLS, only /user/ - The new Youtube format uses /u/ these days. The addon doesn't seem to like /channel/ either.

Is there any way around this that I can change myself?

Can you give me an example?

Sure - This is my site and the profile in question, along with most of the new users from 2016 at least.

https://motovlog.com/members/hippodrone.4731/ - This guys channel is youtube.com/c/HippoDrones

My own profile is https://motovlog.com/members/dandoolittle.1/ - My youtube channel uses: youtube.com/user/TheDanDoolittle

I've tried URLS with /channel/ in the URL etc as well.

Trouble is, most of the new channels from 15/16 onwards to my knowledge is using either /channel/ OR /c/

I didn't see that on their docs

Have no idea what you mean, That's what the issue is, the addon seems to only read /user/ as a channel and nothing for the new and widely popular /channel/ or /c/ format etc.

It pulls in the video just fine but the sub link wont be pulled in for anyone using the new format

Another example- https://motovlog.com/members/thediabeticbiker.356/ This is an old channel so they're using /user/ in the URL for their channel, that pulls in the Sub link just fine
