is this a requirement? I have an installation where I want WP in /somedirectory and have XF in root.Installation
- Put the "xenforo" directory insides WordPress's "wp-content/plugins" directory.
Okay, brain dead here when it comes to these particular issues...XenForo Relative Path to Wordpress root
- After installing, you will have to configure the path of XenForo and then... boom. The 2 systems are now completely connected.
Under the Settings section of your WP, there should be a "tab" named XenForo.How/Where do I do this?

In your WordPress Dashboard > Options > XenForoHow/Where do I do this?
You are welcome. Does it work now? Thanks
So it would be .forum or ".forum" ?Dah. It's not the same level, man Even when they have the same level, you can enter "." (a single dot). Anyway, in your case, it should be "forum"

no
I have wordpress in /blog and xenforo in /xenforo
Ive tried xenforo, /xenforo, and the full url path and I still cant log in to Wordpress with my Xenforo username, it says invalid username
You must use ../xenforo
well, I changed it to ../xenforo
now its completely broken and I cant log back into wordpress to make any changes now, if I click log in it takes me to a xenforo page that just says "Log In" but Im already logged in there
I think Ill give up on this for now lol
