Just gonna try this out, because many times i have alert on sites i use but don't view everyday so i miss them. It would be nice if support for user tagging could be added so you get a email when someone tags you in a post.

That would mean swapping over to the 3rd party tagging system and not the core xenforo system? what can have some bad effects on some other addons, personally i like to try and keep things using the core systems when i can. would be nice if email alerts got made part of the core mind you

No, it doesn't swap from the core system. It just adds group tags if you want them and email alerts for tagged users.

I agree that email alerts should be core. If you agree, please like this suggestion.

1.0.5a, but if you look at the version number posted on XF Resources page it says 1.0.1 but when you download it, it is actually 1.0.5

I've been using this addon for some time now. I got a message from a member saying that they're wanting to stop all the emails for alerts. They turned off all the options in email alerts but they're still getting the emails.
I'm wondering if someone else has had this issue? I tested it myself and it still emails me despite turning off the options. It's annoying for the member and most likely others on the forum that don't want constant emails.

Does anyone know a fix or maybe something I'm missing?
I'd appreciate any information.

i'd be really curious to know as well, i really want users to have the ability to get emails on profile posts, but i'd want them to be able to turn them off if they don't want them...
