Fixed Quotes

Last week when viewing posts which had a long quote on my iPhone 5 in safari, I was able to move my finger up on the quote to scroll it.

Now when viewing a quote that is long I am unable to scroll down to see the rest of the quote on the iPhone 5.

Ps. Is it possible you can also make it more noticeable that there is more text to scroll and see when there is a quote. Maybe add a scroll bar or add ... At the end of it or something.

Scrolling inside something scrollable (e.g. scrolling a div inside an already scrollable page) is always quite problematic with touch devices.

My suggestion would be something like this:

Happy with scrolling generally on a desktop, so perhaps the responsive could initialise something like this where it is a bit more straight forward to show or hide the contents of a quote.

We can use scrolling shadows.
But instead of shadows just use a gradient with background color of the quote block.

Ooohhhhhhh it's been changed from scroll to a click

Kinda cool but it is hard to know what to do as when you move the page around you never press the screen, you only slide. So it's hard to stumble across this function.

Same. I much prefer the click now. I think adding a ... At the end would show there is more text to discover and would promote a click.

Spoiler codes will require an add-on, since XenForo doesn't have custom BB Codes. You may have the ability to reuse this code to implement your custom BB Code, but I won't guarantee it.
