Hide Addon For XenForo 1.1
This hack hide content from users.

Install:
1. upload files to your forum directory
2. import addon xml file

Usage:
[HIDE=5]hidden text[/HIDE] - need 5 posts for view hidden content
[SHOWTOGROUPS=3,4]hidden text[/SHOWTOGRUPS] - shows hidden content only for groups Administrative, Moderating

One question, would the following work?
[SHOWTOGROUPS=3,4][IMG]path/to/image.jpg[/IMG][/SHOWTOGROUPS]

I do not know how to do it. We must wait for documentation on how to add buttons to the editor from the XF developers

[HIDE-REPLY] would be nice!

i.e. content is hidden unless a user replies to that particular thread.
