Seems that this addon has conflicting issues with @xfrocks Anonymous Postings addon.

How/when is the error generated?
Is it when you try to feature a thread by someone who has posted anonymously?

I have this addon installed and the Modern Statistics one but the Modern Statistics wants to show before the featured posts at the top of the page. How can i change this please so featured posts show first on my index page? See: wirraltalk.co.uk (logged in only to view both)

If that add-on also inserts the template using the same template modification find string, then the execution order can be changed for that one or this one to determine which is inserted first.
This is the string for Featured Threads:

<find></xen:include></xen:container></find>

You need to enable debug mode or navigate directly to this URL: /admin.php?template-modifications/

Note that this value will reset the next time you upgrade the add-on for which you change it.

It occurred to me that having a page with all of the currently featured threads listed is not that dissimilar to a portal page.

Throw in a sidebar with the usual stuff (with an option to display it or not) and set the index page route to it and you have what is basically a landing page.

All suggestions are considered.
Not all will be implemented.

I am currently working on much bigger features.

I would like to see integration with the Trophy System. This obviously isn't a big deal and shouldn't even be on a more immediate to do list. But if ever there's downtime then perhaps this could be a thought.

I have decided to release 1.2 now so I can concentrate on the much larger (and potentially time consuming) feature which will eventually see this become a pseudo-portal or home page.

This is strange..

I have just installed it and during installtion it went away with a error 500 (during "analyzing admin templates" as far as I remember)

Then I updated the add-on and installation worked.

But when it is activated, and I want to show any thread, this error appears:

Fatal error: Class 'CTA_FeaturedThreads_ControllerPublic_Thread' not found in /var/www/xxxxxxxx/library/XenForo/FrontController.php on line 432
