XF 2.1 error uploading images

Some people are having problems uploading images, attachments is set to 8192kb, the file is 2,777,771 bytes (2.8 MB on disk) but when I upload it it just displays IMG_0248.JPG in the upload box.

It's only just started happening since I moved to a new server, any ideas?

When you are in your ACP, what does the server environment report say?
Your upload_max_filesize is probably too low.

No, no, they don't need to be that high. It was just an example from me. I was trying to show you where you have to look.

Well, hmm, your numbers seem okay.

The next step would be to check if JPG extensions can be attached (check in options for attachments "allowed file extensions").

And if that is the case, the classic way to go is to disable all of your addons and then test again. See if it is an addon problem or not.

I've disabled the addons and still it's the same

I am out of ideas. The last thing I would do is to ask my hosting company if they can check their server error logs about this situation.

Maybe someone else has a better idea.

Most likely mod security being tripped. Contact host to find out which rule is being triggered and have them whitelist it.

It does, but so far I've found their support really poor, I might be moving again before the end of the month
