XF 2.1 custom user fields when registering a new user through google/FB/etc

I would like to use the connected accounts feature to ease registration on my site, but I wonder what will happen to the custom user fields I have created? Will they continue be shown to the user during the registration process? (Some are mandatory, some are optional)

We show the same custom fields to connected account registrations as we do for "regular" registrations, so mandatory ones will still be required and others that you opt-in to showing during registration will appear.
