Change Xcache to (Opcache and (APCU or Memcached)) for PHP 5.4?

I can't find any file named *opcache.ini on my server

phpinfo will tell you, look for Additional .ini files parsed.

My phpinfo says "(none)" under additional .ini files parsed. These are my Opcache settings:

I set up Opcache and memcached yesterday. Looking at the stats today, I can see that memcached is only using 1.7MB of memory. Does that mean that it isn't working?

You have 5 million cache hits and nearly 16gb of written data, it definitely is working.

Thanks! I guess this means that giving it 1G of size is way overkill though.

Do you think installing memcache in single server will add a kind of "TCP overhead"? (i read it somewhere anyway).
