Anyone worked out what they are going to use Xen pages for?

Thinking on our general chat forum we may use them for tutorials on how to use the software, some of the older members might need a slight helping hand here or there to get the best out of their posting day. Anyone else thinking about em?

I wonder how easy it would be to add some more tabs...

The help page is populated with phrases, so you can change the phrases.

Can I replace it with a set of Pages of my own?

Of course. Make a node: page > Help
Make child node > page with your content.
And edit the navigator template and replace the Help dropdown to your help page and the sub links to those help sub pages.

I'm sure that there are several other uses that I haven't thought of yet.

Great ideas Peggy, i'm gonna use 3 of them on my site - 1, 3 and 5.

I would just edit the terms phrase to have the forum rules, so it's 1 spot, and used during sign up. And linkable in the footer.

I've been looking it over and giving thought to using the pages as a repository for our many How To articles.

• Rules
• TOS
• Privacy Policy
• Advertising info (though may end up making this a custom addon as we like to keep up to date stats on there)
• About Us
• Info on 'vip' membership
• etc
