It could allow someone who steals your front end session to access your backend...maybe in some twisted way...

read up on the above posts...I didn't say it guarantees it but there is a chance and was mainly indirectly suggesting that there be a way to disable it for boards that are more concerned about security.

Or. Maybe if the person doing it wasn't an idiot it would be secure anyway. Not to mention is is secure because of how XF handles the 'backend' (as you call it).

It just wouldn't happen sorry. Unless the programmer was an idiot.
