Description:
  • Removes profile page tabs
  • Removes profile posts options
  • Removes update your status options
  • Removes redundant information block below the avatar
Your users will like the easy to use profile page once this add-on is installed.

Features:
  • Compatible with XenForo Resources add-on.
  • Compatible with XenForo Media Gallery add-on.
Installation:
  1. Download profilepage_v1.7.zip and unzip it.
  2. From your Admin Control Panel, go to the "Install Add-on" page.
  3. Upload the addon-ProfilePage_v1.7.xml file
  4. Click the Install Add-on button.
Setup:
  • In the Admin Control Panel, be sure to set this value to 0.

    Admin CP -> Options -> Node & Forum List -> New Profile Posts Display on Forum List
User Group Permissions:

Be sure to set every User Group to the following settings:

Question and Answers:

Q: Does this add-on have an Options page that allows selecting which features to remove?
A: No.​

Data removal:

To remove existing Profile Posts and Status information, run the following queries in phpMyAdmin:

Code: 
TRUNCATE xf_profile_post

and

Code: 
TRUNCATE xf_profile_post_comment

and

Code: 
UPDATE xf_user_profile SET status = ''

My users just don't use profile posts and to have them available with some outdated posts it's just so not important. Thank you for easy way, Andy.

Rather than having four needless tabs on the user Profile Page, this add-on strips away the unneeded (and often empty) tabs and presents a better, revised user Profile Page with useable info on it.

EDIT: I just ran the three suggested SQL queries and with 3000+ users, it only affected a few dozen profiles. Which goes to show you, we were presenting blank (i.e. needless) data to most of our members.

As McKel said, once again less is more!

Another great mod! Sometimes less is more, which is the case with profiles (imho). I've never been a fan of the tabbed profile.

KISS (Keep it simple, stupid).
Great to keep the forum as simple and user friendly as possible, getting rid of unnecessary things, making it less confusing.

Andy helped me out making my forum more transparant by eliminating a lot of 'clutter'. This addon is one of those examples that eliminates unnecessary 'clutter'. The member page now looks slick :) Thanks!
