Profile Post Linking

When linking a profile post it instead goes to the users profile page instead of the specific profile post.

I know profile posts aren't a popular feature for most who use Xenforo, but on my site we get roughly 200 profile posts a day and it's one of our most beloved and active features, so being able to link to a specific profile post is pretty important for us, especially moderators.

It does go to the correct page upon linking but that doesn't feel efficient to me, if I link a thread it goes to the correct post so I feel profile posts should operate similarly?

but it doesn't render as an embedded link (forget the actual name).

i see where your users are likely getting confused.

I think the problem is xenforo has easy ways to share posts

but profile posts do not have this.

I am getting the profile post URL by clicking on THE DATE.

how to see it profile post URLs

(1) go to your profile - note the URL
(2) click on the date of any profile post - see the URL change from your profile to THAT profile post.
(3) you can manually copy this URL for linking.
