I don't believe you were honest at all. I believe you did not ask permission. Your behaviour in other posts across these forums indicate the sort of person you are - arrogant and untrustworthy in my opinion. Your review, which is still there, is pathetic. It's now buried by the myriad of positive reviews from others. Frankly you're a disgrace and I hope other developers refuse to do business with you.

I agree with the 'single use', and as I said the author of that mod first off I had given access to my support account for that mod to my dev so the author can deal directly with my dev to save time; why would I tell this to the author if I wanted to steal?

Chris & Other authors all talk to my dev? This is not redistribution, my dev is well known & he only intended to seek support from the author for Me. But the author overreacted unnecessarily.

I had the right to - I didn't get what I paid for, for no real reason. But, any how, I'm sure everyone here has better things to do than focus on me!

Your dev is well-known? Matter of opinion.

'Well-Known' member means something & when a number of authors work directly with my dev on my behalf I think you can safely assume my dev is safe.

So what you have just done is admitted violating the license agreement regardless of how you try to justify it.

As such I deem your review invalid and removed it, as the license agreement was violated before asking for support. If you wish to disagree with my decision, you can take it up with me in private conversation or put a ticket into support.

I don't ever like to "assume" anything. After reading your nonsensical postings I certainly could "assume" something, but I'll pass on that. I'm still confused on this well known dev... name of them?

Chris: if someone cannot take legitimate criticism, and where I express full honesty, this does not make me 'pathetic'.

Slavik - removing my review goes against the principle of impartiality on this website, but if you think telling the author honestly about me getting a dev to help me set up a mod is wrong, you are wrong. Theft would have been if I hadn't told the author anything re my dev. But, I concede I failed to determine how that author reacted.

You don't tell them.. You request permission first. You didn't. Is that a hard concept?

Chris - honesty should not cancel out paid support, and so criticism is justified. But, I agree that each author is different so will now adjust accordingly

Sheldon, I agree. But to solve this XF need to make all authors work strictly off 1 single platform, some authors didn't raise any concerns so you do make a general habit of how you get a dev to handle mods

The only one who can't take legitimate criticism is you. You are trying to justify breaking the licensing agreement and you basically accuse the author of removing the review when it's still there if you'd bothered to look. I suggest you stop commenting on this matter as you're only making it worse for yourself. You go away, think about things and consider being a man and apologising for your behaviour and attitude.

Martok, if you read Slavik has removed my review - as I said, XF should set up a firm 1 rule platform to avoid this, because some authors are dealing with my dev fine, only this author didn't appreciate my honesty. But, I concede I will now deal 1 author by 1 author more clearly in future re my dev

All that mess for only one bad review. I don't see any poor support here, but clearly some childish behaviour and some hypocrisy. XenForo developers let third addons developers the possibility to reply to bad reviews. Deal with it guys.
