Thanks sbj for the explanation (and the reassurance)- that's something I wasn't aware of. It's possible that the production site can go several hours overnight without a "real" visitor, but hopefully page load by a bot will be frequent enough to trigger.

I switched from Single file to Multiple files last night but no change. Backup doesn't complete on schedule, presumably leaving forum closed.
Looked in the backup location this morning but no corresponding folder created for last nights backup yet. Then, I loaded the forum index page (not...
Purchased and currently trying this out on an XF2.1 test installation before migrating my production site from XF1.5. Both sites are hosted on the same VPS with separate user accounts and URLs.
I'm having an issue where the backup appears to start on time per the schedule in the internal XF...
I tried but couldn't wrap my brain around redirects, The addon worked very well. I now just need to tweak the RegEx to pick up the remainder of the old URLs that have various params following the threadId.

which is $image = imagecreatefromjpeg($fileName);

In my newly set-up forum, the 2MB limit appears to be an issue on certain browsers. I've configured for larger uploads to be resized, and it works on fine on IE11/Win7. Fails on Chrome/Win7 and Firefox/Win7. Flash upload is off The failure mode is the indicator strobe in the upper right...
