So I just did a completely clean install, added XenPorta 2 and gave the administrative group permission to upgrade to articles.
I then made a post and attached a single JPG, adding it to the post as firstly a thumbnail and then a full image, like this:
This is a test post.
So it looks like...
I found another thread that mentioned wildcards, so this works for me!
https://www.osnn.net/search/5/?q=%2A%2A%2A%2A&t=post&c[prefixes][0]=2&o=date&g=1
Looks like this is doing the job nicely
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^t-([0-9]+)\.html
RewriteRule ^archive/index\.php$ /threads/%1/? [L,R=301]
I just hope its optimal! But at least it works -- http://www.osnn.net/archive/index.php?t-108488.html
Yeha, was just slowly reading something similar on https://stackoverflow.com/questions/13761125/htaccess-rewrite-rule-remove-question-mark
All a bit of a baptism of fire :D

Following on, perhaps its a bug with thumbnails?
When I do attach=full it does appear to use the lightbox
<div class="lbContainer lbContainer--inline " title="1595885028_28.jpg"
data-xf-init="lightbox"
data-lb-single-image="1"
data-lb-container-zoom="1"...
Still using 2.1.0.7 here, but was wondering if I had broken something.
On my homepage images do not open in the lightbox image viewer, but they open the image themselves (they are attached files), but when I view the article (for example...
Firstly, thanks so much for adding RSS, might be low in demand but I still need it ;)
Is the length of contnet defined anywhere? Wasn't able to immediately see it.
Secondly, since the update, I don't appear to get inline attachments on the front page.
For example on here: https://www.osnn.net/...
