Cannot reproduce Template errors are not shown in console

Can you provide a reproduce case for this? For example, if we take a link that opens in an overlay and point it at an invalid template, the error is logged to the console as expected.

(Note that if you are using custom JS, this is handled as part of some of the default behaviors. If you have disabled them, you may by pass them.)
