XF 2.0 link redirect to xenforo upgrade

This is old thread when forum was on vbulletin, but on xenforo 1.x all redirect/import/change from vb4 to xf 1.x works OK.
Now on xf2 this is happened.

The redirection scripts you are using will need to be updated to work with XF2.

I'm not certain what the total changes are between the official vB3 redirection scripts we released vs. the unofficial vB4 redirection scripts, but I suspect for the most part the vB3 ones should work and we updated those to work with XF2, and they can be found here:

I did conversion from vb4 to xf1 several years ago.
All worked Ok, but when I upgrade xf1 to xf2 that happened.
What I have to do now?

I just explained.

That link is an old vB URL. On your server are special redirection scripts which are redirecting your old vB URLs to XF URLs. These redirection scripts use the XF framework to perform the redirection. Those redirection scripts were written for the XF1 framework. You will need to update those scripts to work with XF2.

The link I provided before points you to the redirection scripts category for XF2. There's some vB3 redirection scripts there which should work for XF2. As far as I know, they should work with vB3 URLs.

So, as far as I can see, I have to just replace/reupload new files to server overwrite the old one?

regarding this new official xenforo addon for redirects (vb to xf) which is released today,
Should we uninstall old one and install new or something else?

The old one isn't an add-on so there's nothing to uninstall as such, but certainly you will probably want to back up the old version files and remove them before installing the new one.
