We have a ten-post minimum to gain access to post on our classified forums, and we have a number of them. However, I would like to add a time element to that as well... like maybe a week. Is this possible? If so, how?

You mean member must be registered for at least a week before getting access to it? That is an option via the user group promotion process.

If you aren't already using user group promotions to allow access to classified section then you should be. Just set the process so that they need 10 posts and be registered for 7 days.
