Image Upload Auto Resizing/Compression

We are currently testing the xenforo demo, and have a question about uploading an image into a post via smartphones. Right now if we try to upload images into a post that we've just snapped on our phones we get the "file too big" error. Now I realize I can easily fix this by increasing the max allowable upload size, but I certainly don't want 4MB images bogging down the forum. Is there any way to have photos that are uploaded into a post to be automatically downsized/compressed if they're larger than the max allowable size?

Images uploaded will be resized to the maximum dimensions you specify here:

Admin CP -> Home -> Options -> Attachments -> Maximum Attachment Image Dimensions

I set mine to 1600x1600.

Typically this ends up with attachments not exceeding about 700KB.

Question, sorry to hijack this thread, but I have a similar issue, on my new board, I have set the max file size to be 6 meg, 2048x2048 as the max image size, but whenever I upload a 4 meg file, it does the upload and gives this error: "The uploaded file is too large for the server to process. "

Am I missing something?
