best practices

Hi all, I inherited small community xen based forum (DB size is 1GB, approx 100 active users) and review current status. The obvious improvement is search engine. Forum is hosted and current amount of RAM is 6GB. My concerns is ElasticSearch and how demanding on RAM it is. Also licensing model...

Mistakes happen. If I delete a node by accident? How do I recover the node? I'm non-technical. If you can point me in the right direction, eg. do I ask a server admin, XF admin, or XF addon developer?

In the XF community, this one, subforums are used to archive threads. To archive a thread, is the best practice to move it? What are the benefits of this practice? Does it affect search functionality, etc.?
