XenCentral Ad Server 2.0.0 beta 3 rev. 2

Hello everyone,

This is the next minor release of XenCentral Ad Server implementing a feature mostly requested by our customers - possibility of manual payments. Now users will see a button for manual payment along with PayPal button, clicking it they will see a page that provides them payment instructions (configuration set in Admin -> XenCentral -> Framework -> Configure Framework page) and unique transaction ID which they need to include in their manual payment. Once admins receives the payment (via Bank Transfer or actually any other way) they can go to Admin -> XenCentral -> Manual Payments page, search for transaction ID and process the transaction following a link.

New admin permission is added to define admins who can approve manual payments.

All licensed customers can download the release from their client's area. XenCentral Framework 1.3.1 version is required for this version of Ad Server.

This is the next minor release of XenCentral Ad Server. This version fixes a bug introduced the last release with exclusion criteria, and this version requires XenCentral Framwork 1.3.0 version, which implements country filter in user criteria. Now zones (and anything that implements XenForo Criteria system) can be filtered based on visitor's IP address and country detected from IP.

We got several reports regarding server disk space issue connected with large amount of files in internal_data/xcfw_cache directory. This happens only when there is no cache configured in XenForo config.php file, and our framework creates file-based cache in that directory. The older version of Framework was not cleaning up the directory causing the issue. Now the cleanup is implemented in a cron job running once per day. However, as the number of files collected in the directory may be too big, it is recommended to delete the directory manually one time, using SSH or any other access your have to the server.

This is the next release of XenCentral Ad Server with some most requested features:

1. Option to disable impression statistics. Zone and banner impressions are saved to the database by default to allow having impression-related statistics. Now you can disable this and save a query per zone impression if you are not interested in this data. Click stats will still be saved and will be available in My Ads section.

2. Support for mobile version code to be able to have fully responsive ads. By default the code is empty and the same banner will load for all devices, but now in Edit Banner page there is field to set HTML used for mobile devices only.

3. Multiple owners of banners. Now multiple banner owner usernames can be specified in Edit Banner page, and all uses listed there will have access to edit banner, pay for it, see statistics etc.

4. User/Page exclusion criteria. The product is fully integrated with XenForo Criteria system to allow activation of zone when certain criteria are met, and now it is additionally powered with the same system but used as exclusion criteria, so if you need to have an add everywhere except inside a node, the new system makes it fully possible.

This is a bug-fix release for XenCentral Ad Server, that fixes some issues with Safe Mode banners implemented in the last release (now if a banner in safe mode is loaded no other banner will be loaded if ad rotation for the zone is enabled). This also fixes the image in banner list on user's end being too small in some specific cases.

This is the next minor release of XenCentral Ad Server, that fixes issues with cookie size when using ad capping (now capping data will be saved in server-side cache instead of being stored in cookies), and implements new "Safe Mode" for banners with complicated JS-based code that does not work when added in usual way. Some ad providers use document.write in their JS code to provide rotating ads, and they require their code to be added into HTML directly, not loaded asynchronously. Now you can enable Safe Mode for such banners and it should work with most of providers.

This is a bug-fix release that resolves problem connected with latest feature implemented - capping support. Data about capping is stored in cookies, and the boards with large number of ads running were getting an error about cookie size. Now the product is optimized to use smaller cookie space and not to exceed limits.

This is the next release of XenCentral Ad Server implementing some new features requested by our customers.

The main features are:
1. All content-related hooks are enhanced to support content filters. All post-related hooks can be filtered by post position/post IDs/thread IDs/forum IDs/post user IDs, all thread-related hooks can be filtered by thread and forum IDs, member profile hooks can be filtered by user ID etc. All ID fields accept multiple values separated by comma.

2. An option in product settings to set daily capping limit. This is the maximum number of times a banner will be shown to the same user during 24 hours period.

3. A link is added in Admin Panel to reset all statistics.
