Yes, that's what I meant: xf_link_forum.txt, not xf_link.txt. Also, I forgot to say that oddly one of the six did make it into the node tree.
The xf_link_forum table does contain them. The xf_node.txt file contains them as well, but the xf_node table does not (except for that one).
I have six LinkForum(s). They are shown in both xf_link.txt and xf_node.txt. However, they do not appear in the node tree after import. How should I fix this?

Yes, I too believe downvotes may be abused. Stack Overflow allows only users who have gained a certain number of points to downvote. Yes, I see that list of voted-upon posts. And many discussions are in chronological order even if it is Q&A, so perhaps duplicate only the most highly voted...
On fourth look, it's a little bit closer than I thought. Some things that are different are that it does not have down votes, does not order by number of votes, and does page refresh upon voting, but it does have vote numbers and unvote ability.
It took a couple tries to figure out which word returned results but I finally found one: "Google". :) Of course now that I know it works I can find any number of words in those forums, then search on them.
