+1 for the ability to notify via alert. Also, the ability to limit how many alerts each group can receive per month would be nice as well. We want to have two usergroups, one that can only get X alerts per month, and one that is unlimited, but of course can't do that right now.

That worked, thanks. Was trying all sorts of things to replace $visitor with but never tried $user, are those options listed anywhere, I didn't see it mentioned in Brogans threads or in the documentation...I looked before I posted the question, did I miss it...or do you just have to "know"?

I'm trying to work on a template edit that is currently using {$user.user_group_id}, but that only works for primary usergroups. I would like for this to work for secondary groups as well...but can't seem to find the right thing to do it.

I like this, though I would have to add: Make "Banner Groups", that way say you can have different levels in the "Donator group", "Member Group", etc. So one Donator and one Member banner would show from their respective groups.

It may not be possible using existing settings via the control panel, but there has to be a way that it can be done manually via template edits like I'm trying to do.

Because in some cases I need more than one banner to show. It is for a gaming community where certain members can be part of the main admin team, or just part of one of the specific gaming admin teams, or both (or more). For these members that are in both, I need it to show both of those...

If I've installed the optional files/block for Xenporta, does that make the other template edits not work? I have added the template edit to include the chatbox above the forum list, but it does not show up (the block works on the front page though).

I'm not sure if this has been asked yet or not (kinda hard to check every page of a 68 page thread at the moment), but is it possible to have multiple "tabs" of chats with this? And if not, any chance it could be added at some point? What I'm looking for: A Main chat tab for the forums A...
