I found an add-on called s9esites and it enables Threads, Mastodon, and many other BB code media options! Seems to work nicely, thanks to the developer!

Many users are migrating from X.com to Threads or Mastodon. However, XF 2.3.x doesn’t include BB code media for embedding these posts. Would anybody that successfully added these to their site be willing to share the BB code media sites entry information for them?
