To answer your question author said earlier in the topic that there'd be a version of XF 2. I'm also curious about this. Been almost a year and no updates (as far as I've seen) as to when an updated version for XF 2 is coming.

Kinda a late response, but I tried disabling speed mode and thought it seemed to help, I thought since disabling speed mode could fix the problem I'd just do that instead of changing the cache settings. Seems like the issue where chat messages aren't loading until refresh is still happening...

I'm occasionally having trouble seeing updates for the chat. Sometimes when I or others post messages they don't show until we refresh or post another message. Is there anyway to fix this? I already have speed mode enabled.

Correct, unless there's some delay or something. I checked my admin.php?tools/phpinfo page and it still looks like it was set to 1,000 and the error when moving smileys was still occurring.

Seemed to cause my site to stop functioning when I added this in, not sure if I added it in the correct place though. Is there a particular place I'm supposed to add it? There's already a php.ini file in my root directory, I tried adding max_input_vars = 3000 to it but it didn't seem to affect...

I and my members keep seeing 0 on the inbox and alert part. I tried reverting the navigation.css which was suggested in another thread but it doesn't seem to have fixed it for me. Anyone have any ideas what's wrong?

Yes, correct. I was hoping that maybe there was some way to support it, as a lot of my users spend a lot of their time on the shoutbox and they don't really like the profanity filters I have on, but I also didn't want to turn them completely off for guests/new users. So it would be very helpful...
