Wait what, do XenForo addon purchases now function as subscriptions? Cause if not I don't see how you have anything to complain about, let alone ask for your money back. If you didn't like the addon in the form that it was in when you bought it you should not have bought it. Done.

Fyi I have open sourced the addon I made for this quite a while ago as I have no time or interest in working on it any further. This has not been tested with the latest XF version, is no longer maintained and I provide no support for it. You've been warned. https://github.com/Naatan/XenAuction

Actually with the license I used anyone is allowed to fork it and sell their own copies (provided the license is included). Of course you'd need to make significant changes for anyone to bother paying when there is an open-source version available.

As Robbo said it's open-source, so feel free to fork. If anyone desires to take over development of this addon directly feel free to contact me, I'll gladly move ownership of the repo.

You would need to ask Waindigo if his license allows that. As it stands the version you purchased from me is not open-source.

The motivation part is only part of the reason. But fair enough - we're each entitled to our own opinions.
