I must be an idiot because I still cannot figure out for the life of me how to allow guests to see what is happening in the chatroom, but not be able to participate. Is there any way to set this up? I only have 1 default chatroom and nothing else.

Is there a way to make it so that guests can see the messages in your chatroom, but cannot talk? I want to advertise it to people who are not members that it's an active community. As of right now, I cannot in my community.

My role permissions aren't syncing. I updated the Bot's role to be the top role in the list for my Discord server and ensured it had admin permissions. It's still not making the changes to users other than myself. Does the user have to be online for it to adjust permissions?
